Cadeau Makazanyo is a Lawyer in the tax team at Cadena Legal, specialising in Australian and international tax matters. With a strong background in client relations and problem-solving, Cadeau brings a strategic approach to navigating technical tax legislation. Her experience at Cadena Legal has given her exposure to advising on complex tax issues for a diverse range of clients, and she continues to develop her knowledge across all areas of tax law. She is currently pursuing her Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification, reflecting her commitment to building technical excellence in taxation.

Passionate about contributing to the community, Cadeau has volunteered with the Rwandan Association of Queensland and the International Programs Unit for the Federal Court of Australia, and co-founded The Catalyst Initiative, a not-for-profit organisation empowering young women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Cadeau enjoys learning languages, spending quality time with friends and family, and considers herself an amateur movie buff.
